CBD hemp with less than 1% THC

Cannabis CBD is legal in Switzerland when THC level is less than 1%

CBD (cannabidiol) is a major compound found in the cannabis plant. It has been an exciting area of medical research over the last few years.

CBD is not a psychotropic drug, it has no psychoactive effects. As a result, pure CBD is not a controlled substance, it is legal in Switzerland whatever its concentration in any product unlike its counterpart THC, another major compound found in cannabis which is legal as long as its concentration does not exceed 1% of the total dry mass of the final product.

This 1% THC threshold is unique to Switzerland law. In the European Union and in the UK, this THC limit is respectively set at 0.3% and 0.2% maximum.
